Places such as Mirissa, Weligama ,Midigama ,Ahangama Hikkaduwa,Unawatuna and Arugam Bay are popular surf spots in Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka there will be waves for everyone, beginners and intermediate and advanced surfers have loads of locations to practice their moves in Sri Lankan seas. In the south between November to May and in the East between April to November where the surfers can enjoy a good break of waves but Arugam Bay on the east coast is the well-known destination.
