Day 1 & 2 – Arrival/Kandy(02Nights) –
Upon your arrival, the first step would be traveling to the iconic city in the hills. The next day you will be visiting the Sacred Temple of the Tooth relic and the Royal botanical gardens.
Options of visiting Udawatte Kelle rain forest for an enjoyable walk.
Day 03 & 04 – Nuwara Eliya (02Nights) –
You can enjoy one of the scenic routes in Sri Lanka towards the city of lights, en-route visit the Ramboda waterfalls, walk through lush tea plantations, and visit a tea factory.
The next day early morning visit the Horton Plains National Park (Worlds End) for a unique experience of the biodiversity of the hill country.
On the way back visit Ambewela dairy farm and Lake Gregory. Explore the streets of Nuwara Eliya including the old post office building.
Day 05 & 06 – Ella (02Nights) –
You can experience one of the magical train journeys in the world, from Nanu-Oya(Nuwara Eliya) to Ella. Enjoy a walk to the Little Adams Peak for an astonishing view of the Ella gap and sunset.
On day 06, travel to Haputale, for a wonderful walk through the lush green tea plantations towards the well-known Lipton’s seat for fabulous views of the green valley.
Later on, the day, take a stroll to the Nine Arch Train Bridge known as the Bridge in the sky, which is one of the best examples of colonial period railway construction in the country.
Day 07 – Colombo(01Night) –
While heading towards the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, you will be able to visit stunning waterfalls such as Rawana and Diyaluma. Also, you can experience the excitement of white water rafting in the Kelani River with overlooking the structural remains of the bridge of the award-winning movie Bridge on the river kwai.
Day 08 – Departure –
On the last day of your holiday, depending on your departure flight schedule you can explore and capture colonial and modern architecture buildings along with few religious monuments to add more colored memories to your holiday.
